Visit Wat Sri Suphan, Temple covered entirely of sparkling silver. This silver temple was built back in 1500, considered to be one of the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and renowned as the the only silver temple in Thailand or even Asia. Continue to Wat Lok Molee, considered to be one of the oldest temple is Chiang Mai, built all the way back in 14th century. This temple hold a massive Chedi that was later built in 1537 and house the ashes of several Kings of the Mengrai dynasty, who ruled the Lanna Kingdom in the past.
